How to change your car tyre


One of the important things to know about cars is how to change the tyre.

The mechanic is not always close to you all the time so may be you are in hurry and one of your tyres is damaged
and you have no time to wait for mechanic, you can do it by yourself.

Here are some tips to change tyre safely and without making a mess and in short time :



First If you suspect a puncture in the tyre while driving :

Don’t slam on the brake abruptly or twist your wheel recklessly; take off your feet slowly off the accelerator.
get to the side of the road away from traffic


Don't forget to :
Switch on your hazard lights.
Switch off the engine and engage the hand brake.

Lets start:
-get your spare tyre,wheel wrench and jack from your car boot
-loosen the wheel nuts on the tyres befor you jack up the car.
-raise up the vehicle using the car jack
-Remove the wheel nuts from the tyres
-Remove the flat tyre.
-Now put the new tyre on the car.
-Tighten the wheel nuts just lightly.
-lower the jack slowly and let the wheel touch the road. Use your wheel spanner to tighten all of the wheel nuts securely.
-check the wheel nuts for the last time to make sure it is tightened properly

-get your flat tyre repaired at the first chance you get, since a spare tyre often doesn’t allow you to drive for more than certain distance.
